Cornhill house-main location
Beatrice Webb house-backup location
In our piece we have decide that we may need to
have 2 locations for our piece as in the main location that we have in mind
does not have to woods that we might need to film our piece. We were thinking
that we could use the Woods around Beatrice Webb house.
There could also be a few problems with filming
this scene. One of these problems could be the weather as we are filming over
half of the scene outside which if it were to be raining we would still be able
to film but it would also make the scene much more difficult to film. This
would be the biggest problem in the scene however one other small problem would
be that people may be coming in and out of the area so shots may be disrupted
by this.
Overall the we would have to spend a couple of
hours here to film and it would also depend upon if we needed to use one of the
locations or need to move to a second location. If we were to use just one
location we would need to have about 5 hours to film all that we needed but if
we were to use 2 we would probably need to have more time so that we could move to each of the locations and gain all of the shots that we need.
Both of the locations are located very close to the school. and each is about a ten or 15 minute drive from the school. Beatrice Webb house is located close to a small village called Holmbury St Mary which is based in the Surrey Hills. Cornhill House is based close to the school as well. These locations are ideal to us as it suits the sort of setting that we are trying to create.
Getting to these locations wont be difficult as we will just use the busses that we have at school to take us to these locations as they are not far from school and they are also part of the school. the busses should be able to take both the equipment and also the actors that we need for the project.
we also have the permission that we need for these locations as they are part of the school so we can use them. It also means that we are able to use the rifle outside in these areas as they private grounds so we do not need the permission of the police to take a fake gun out into public.
