Music video idea 1

My song of choice here is called Angels which was originally by the XX. Though this is not the main song that I would be looking at as I would be looking at the Kygo edit of this song. The song is a total length of 7.5 minuets. Although this is a very long song we would be able to cut it down to the length that we want.

For the start of the video it gradually builds up with more and more bass and sound added to it. I think a great way of using this song would be to add more and different coloured lights such as white to start with then building up of more sounds. I think it would be good to start with a simple black and white but then different lights would flash down with each different sound.

Then in-between all this like in ‘send it up’ last year I would have people in the lights when they are at full beam and in-between beats of the music. At the start, it would just be the singer but then as more is added I would get dancers to come in and to start dancing around her. We would be able to cut down the length of the song by quite a large amount as many parts of it are very repetitive.

When she is singing I would have her standing in the middle with a bright white spot light focusing down on her whilst the light show goes on around her.

And then at the end of the song the same happens as the sound is gently taken away until you are left with the beat that there was at the start which I think would be a good ending.
