As a group we have come up with what we believe our target audience would be. We agreed that our target audience would likely be males in the age range of 15 - 18. We thought this as we had been looking at similar artists and looking at the kind of audiences they had.
We also wanted to look at what kind of audiences our would be on the VALS and JICNAR sclaes. As a group we all decided that our target audience would be in the groups between drifters and utopians. These people are usually seen as young and have no serious problems with them hence why my group have decided to choose this age range.
We would appeal to our target audience in many ways with our artist. One of the main ways in which this is done is through the genre of the music that our artist will create. This phycadelic rock genre often appeals to the drifters and utopians. We also wanted to do this with the mise en scene of the artist. This is mostly done in the costumes or outfits that he would wear. We thought that this would be a mix of 'skate boarder outfits' and more indie and unique kind of clothing.
This is a photo of the timeline that my group and I made to see when would be a good time to start the new scenes in the video to keep the audience interested. This is what my group put together and we thought that we should introduce the second element of our music video in at 39 seconds where the song changes slightly. We thought that we should then add the third aspect at the 1:50 mark as this is also another change in the song and finally at the 2:34 we mix all three of our elements together.
