This is my part of evaluation task 4 looking at my music video and the technology that my group and I used in all processes of making the video.
This is the Prezi that I have made explaining the work that we have done in all three areas of the production of our digipack. This was also looking at all of the technology that we have been using.
This is the final presentation of my evaluation task 4 about the technologies that I used in the making of my website for the music campaign that we have been working on. Here I used several different ways to show this in the three areas of production such as the pre-production, production, and postproduction.
Over the course of the year, we have been given feedback several times over this period. This helped me individually and also helped the group as a whole to create the best music campaign that we could. We did this by making sure that the genre of psychedelic rock came across clearly and people could clearly understand what we were trying to create.

This is a feedback video that we made talking about how we were able to create a star image throughout the campaign and to create demand for our artist.
This is one of the most important parts of our post-production work as this work enables us to make our campaign better in terms of what people see in it.
This is a video that we took of the focus group cut down to give us all the information that we needed.
Though basic this is an effective way we thought of taking in all the information. and can always be referred back to.
We started off with showing them the website. We went through the whole website showing the group all of the links that came up and all of the social media sites that we had made and went through all the six sections that came up.
They were originally very impressed with the website originally when we showed them the social media links and were particularly impressed with the SoundCloud that we created for the artist. they were very complimentary about this part. Also whilst we were going through our website we were also complimented on the merchandise page.
This was a quick chart that I made to show what people thought of the homepage background and as shown the majority showed that they liked the photo background. This was because it linked in well with the photo that we put up on the homepage. However, they did also say that the homepage was quite in your face and full on and it could be good to tone it down a little.
From the feedback, I was also told that there needed to be more on the about page and that there wasn't enough information on the artist himself. This is a pretty key part for us as we are aiming to sell the artist as well.
Finally, one other aspect of feedback that I found very useful for the website was that we needed to advertise the album much more. This is a key part for us as this is the main aim of the music campaign as well as selling the artist.
These were just some graphs that we created as a group to represent what people in the focus group thought.
These are some of the initial ideas that we had as a group that we thought could be a good idea for our digipack. These were mostly thought of by Sean but Guy and I both agreed that these were some good initial ideas using photos that we had found on the internet.
These were some of the ideas that we had that we didn't end up using for the final product.
Once we had gone through several ideas we started working on the one that would lead to our final product. Here we then started taking pictures and using them and editing them on software's such as Pixlr and also preview to adapt the size.

We decided as a group to go with a mix of Guy and Seans album artwork. We decided that seans front cover, spine and back cover were all really good to use. We thought that it work work better however if we were to make it more in line with the genre conventions. We did this by incorporating Guys idea in with seans. We did this by adding the strange colour and wavy lines surrounding the artist. We also thought that although Seans Idea had a man on a float and a woman swimming next to him we may need something else and that it would be good on the back cover to perhaps have a pair of sunglasses on the back with the same kind of lines coming around him.
This makes the genre clear through the strangeness of the photo we are using and also how the colours go with it. The star image here is made evident in the way that he is clearly visable on the front cover and just on a float in the pool however with the addition of him wearing a suit in the pool and the random sunglasses in the pool make him more distant and provides the star image that we are trying to create with him.
This will link slightly to our music video as we are thinking that we may be able to have him lying on an ice cream float rather than a normal float so that it will link slightly and in addition to this he may also have an ice cream in his hand.
