Music video idea 4

This is the one which I thought would mean the most in terms of the video. Over the years the music industry is becoming much more effected in the way that electronic sounds are used. The song that I would be using is called ‘come back’ by No Tv No Radio. The song has many original sounds that I am able to hear such as the sounds such as the sounds of the piano, recorder, violin and guitar. Although the song is originally about love this can be changed to make it seem like they want the old music to come back

These sounds have then been changed around a lot with the use of the computer. I would want to represent the change by staging a funeral with several coffins in the church and the singer in middle in a cheap coffin that could be surrounded by computers or wrapped in wires. perhaps while we look down on her. The artists voice at the start is also repeated and changed several times. If there would be a way that we were also able to change a little bit of the song to inside the coffin where we hear the original sound of the instrument such as the end of the song where we could clearly hear the original sound of a cello or violin however we can still hear the persistent sound of the drums in the background.

 I would want to show this as how you are no longer able to become successful with just the skill of a normal musical instrument and how all the sounds need to change to become successful. I would have them all in seperate coffins or boxes with the singer in the middle and drums, flute, violin, cello and guitar around her.

I would also have a stereo linked to each of the boxes/coffins which would be shown to be the source of the sound and we would get the music bars coming out of them and then all the wires would lead to someone in the studio creating this song.

this could then be made even more effective by gradually changeing the narrator as they seem to change more in the studio as she gradually becomes more and more different and by the end she's a completely different person.

Music video Idea 3.

The third song option that I thought would be good would be Define by Dom Dolla. Here I would have at the start the singer surrounded by a DJ and someone of a key board and dressed in colourful clothing. the DJ set where there would be bright lights around him flashing and stobe with lighting and in the first they would then be a seperate scene where there are dancers under bright and colourful lights where there would be dancers and it would cut back between the dancers and the DJ all the time.

Music video idea 2

My second song of choice is the song Heads Will Roll but the A-Trak Remix. Again the song is very long however it is still quite repetitive so would be easily be able to cut it down.

It would have a similar theme with the lighting being the main aspect of this. There would be two sets. The first set would be the band and the singer all in the same place but you don’t see them together they all do their parts separately and the main focus being on the singer.

The second set would be for both the singer and the dancers who would be the main part of the music video. They would be dressed in LED lights and would have them flashing to the beat whilst dancing. The males and females would both be represented with different colours of light to show the interaction between the characters. And also the dancers lights would all flash or stay on at different times to make it seem like they are in several different places at once at different times or all at the same time. I got this inspiration from an america's got talent audition where I saw this on Facebook. 


There in between all the dancing there would be the singer singing and moving and dancing with the words and at the end interacting with the lights that we can see the dancers creating.
