Last half of term my class and I were fortunate enough to get a talk from a proffestional director of music video's called Phil Tidy and he told us many tips on music videos.


He told us about all of the work that he had done and the people that he had worked with these included huge artists such as Daft Punk and several others. Here we learned several things. One of these included the purpose of the music videos in the industry.

We also learned that many famous directors of large blockbuster films started out by making music videos. We also learned about the world of music video's telling us the ins and outs such as what are the most expensive parts of a music video and in most cases this is the equipment and also making sure that the director of the video suited the video and kind of liked the artists.
